Organizations thrive in proportion to the quality of their leadership and the quality of leadership depends on the organizational code of ethics. The company expects its leaders to behave ethically and to take an active role in shaping the company organizational values.
This training is not to enable you develop a personal code of ethics but will enable you develop a basic knowledge of ethics which will improve your abilities to assess your own ethical beliefs and to increase your understanding of ethics in relation to your work.
Course Objective:
When given an ethical problem or dilemma, and the ethical decision-making process, participants should be able to apply ethical decision-making according to your organization’s Standard of Business Conduct.
Who should attend?
Supervisors and managers in technical or non-technical positions who have the responsibility of providing guidance and direction for employees to conduct business in line with an organization’s Standard of Business Conduct.
Course Content
The course will cover the following:
- Explain the concepts of ethics, professional ethics and an ethical code
- Relates ethics to the law
- Leader’s role in fostering an ethical climate
- Determine the ethical resolution to various ethical dilemmas
Competence Assessment segment:
Competence assessment is done as part of the individual and group practices in the class.
