TECHNIQUES OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

DESCRIPTION


As a leader of a team, you communicate whether we like it or not and sometimes, communication do not provide the desired results.

Good communication does not just happen the skills must be developed and maintained. This training and related exercises will help you to improve your communication skills and reduce misunderstandings.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Supervisors and Managers in technical or non-technical positions who have responsibility to provide guidance and direction to employees in achieving organization's objectives.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

The training will cover the following:

Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills to include:

    • Acknowledge the other person(s) or the situation.
    • Gather information by asking direct questions.
    • Clarify information by asking probing questions.
    • Present information / feedback for agreement or for further discussion.
    • Your communication skills were effective as evaluated by the other person(s).
